Geneva Airport – formerly and still unofficially known as Cointrin Airport – is the international airport for Geneva, the second most populous city in Switzerland. It is located 4 km (2.5 mi) northwest of the city centre. It surpassed the 15-million-passengers-a-year mark for the first time in December 2014.
