The political municipality of Pfyn consists of the two former municipalities of Dettighofen and Pfyn. The municipality extends from the Thurebene northwards to the plateau of the Seerücken with an area of around 13 km2 and has around 2,200 inhabitants.
Pfyn is one of the oldest settlements in Eastern Switzerland. The municipality is well connected, centrally located, close to nature, and family-friendly.
