A house with a soul — and with returns

Behind the light blue wooden facade at Kirchstrasse 35 is a

house that is no longer built today. Old wooden beams support the

ceilings, open stud walls structure the living space, instead of dividing it.

The main apartment extends over the upper floor and attic: a large living and dining area with

chimney stove, a spiral staircase, a gallery with a view into the

living room and rooms with wooden floors and skylights.

Outside, the large terrace with a distant view awaits, on the south side

a small garden with sunshade. In the basement is a

sauna landscape with sauna, whirlpool, plunge pool and shower — with

underfloor heating. On the ground floor is a separate 2.5-room annex apartment,

freshly renovated in 2024 and rented long-term.

The roof was completely renovated and insulated in 2011; since

2002, the owner has invested over CHF 450,000 in the house.
