1.5 room Apartment in Basel

In the vibrant Matthäusquartier, you'll find a lovingly renovated residential building that combines affordable living and neighborly togetherness. Eight houses with a total of 50 apartments are connected by a green inner courtyard - a retreat where, after the completion of the overall renovation, you can play, laugh, and grill. In addition to the idyllic inner courtyard, a community room will also invite you to exchange and linger in the future. The tenants will be actively involved in the design and use of the room. In this diverse and vibrant house community, we are renting several newly built 1.5-room apartments on the top floor from 02.01.2027, which combine the charm of the old building with modern living comfort. The equipment at a glance: spacious living/bedroom, open kitchen with dishwasher and induction stove, bathroom with shower/WC and window, tile floors in the bathroom and in front of the kitchen counter, parquet floor in the living/bedroom, basement compartment. Please note that these are example pictures and/or visualizations that may differ from the actual conditions on site. For shared use: community room in house 191a (available from spring 2027), laundry room/drying room (basement), additional washing tower in the stairwell (4th floor), bicycle parking spaces, the green inner courtyard - the heart of the building, playground in the inner courtyard (available from spring 2027). Important notes: the renovation work in the inner courtyard is currently still in progress and is expected to be completed in spring 2027. During working hours, therefore, dust and noise emissions must be expected. The property is not wheelchair accessible and there is no elevator. Using solar power - electricity and heat from your own system. On the roof, a modern photovoltaic system provides environmentally friendly solar power. The tenants form an association for self-consumption (ZEV), which allows them to benefit from cheaper electricity prices. The additional demand is covered uncomplicatedly by the IWB, which also takes over the electricity billing. Application: Have we sparked your interest? Then apply directly via the application form.
