Welcome to Restaurant Linde – a unique gastronomy object with history and charm in the picturesque Erlenbach im Simmental. The historic building from 1766 was extensively renovated in 2023. It offers ideal conditions for a successful restaurant on 200 m² of usable space and a generous plot of 2,000 m².
The object impresses with the following highlights:
Historic ambiance: Characterful dining area with wooden tables and chairs, beautiful stained glass windows, and a patterned tile floor – a unique experience for your guests.
Markant wooden facade: The typically Swiss chalet building with its rustic wooden facade and the well-known sign «Restaurant Linde» is widely visible and well-known in the region.
Ground floor location: Barrier-free access and therefore ideal for all guests – the object is fully wheelchair accessible. The cellar, storage, etc. are also located on the ground floor, which is very practical.
Outdoor area & parking: A generous outdoor area with seating outside and a very large parking lot with an electric charging station round off the offer.
Evening flair: The illuminated facade also creates an inviting atmosphere in the evening hours.
Location:
For the popular village restaurant Linde in Erlenbach im Simmental, we are looking for a qualified host as of 1.1.2017 or by agreement. The recently renovated restaurant is located in the village center together with Coop and a drugstore. The very large parking lot is also shared with Coop and the drugstore. The restaurant is located on the heavily trafficked main street of the "Grand Tour of Switzerland" as a connection from Bern/Interlaken to Gstaad/Montreux. It therefore always has many guests who plan a stop on their way through. The restaurant is also very popular in the village. In addition to the regulars' table, clubs and families come for celebrations, meetings, etc., and it has a separate small hall. At lunchtime, the establishment is very popular with craftsmen and passers-by. The partially covered beautiful and new terrace with 40 seats is always well used. Inside, up to 88 seats are allowed. On the upper floor, there is a B&B that brings additional customers. However, the B&B is rented separately. On the large parking lot, there are two electric charging stations that also attract customers. A art installation and an old steam locomotive have been placed on the parking lot to beautify it. The restaurant is open. A first discreet visit to the publicly accessible rooms can be made without prior registration. The establishment is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. The inventory is already included in the rent, so you can start without a large initial investment.
This exceptional gastronomy object combines historic character with modern infrastructure and offers a unique opportunity to run a successful gastronomy business in one of the most beautiful regions of the Bernese Oberland. Take advantage of this rare chance!
