Wohlen is the central municipality of the Freiamt region and is a popular place to live due to its good, diverse infrastructure.
The municipality has a variety of shops, restaurants, a public swimming pool, and a large sports center. All school levels up to high school are represented in the village. Wohlen has a vibrant club life and a wide range of cultural activities.
The village stream Bünz is a popular place for walking and cycling. The forest with a Vita parcours and fireplaces also invites you to linger.
Wohlen is very well connected. The cities of Aarau, Zurich, and Lucerne can be reached by public transport in a short time.
